The open-plan living area gives you a comfortable lounge, dining space and TV with DStv, while the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a gas stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, tea and coffee facilities, crockery and cooking utensils. A separate utility area also has a washing machine.

Outside, you have a large private deck with comfortable seating, an outdoor dining area, a charcoal braai and two Jacuzzis - one heated and one cold - where you can relax while enjoying the ocean views. There is also a garden area and secure parking.

Best of all, you can bring your dog along. The property is pet-friendly by prior arrangement, with a fenced garden and secure perimeter around the small private estate. Dogs must be kept on a lead outside, and guests are asked to make sure their dogs and children do not climb on the furniture. A pet fee applies.

The beach is literally on your doorstep, although the beach directly in front of the apartment is not recommended for swimming. For swimming, Umzumbe Swimming Beach is about a five-minute drive away. The area also offers fishing, horse riding, surfing, windsurfing and other South Coast activities, while shops and restaurants are available in the wider Umzumbe/Hibberdene area.
